Jesus Keeps Every Promise

Representative Text

1 I'm clinging to the Lamb who made me what I am,
I know that His own He ne'er forsakes;
He promises to guide and true He will abide;
He keeps ev'ry promise that He makes.

Refrain:
He keeps ev'ry promise that He makes;
His blessed word He never breaks;
Let way be bright or dim,
my soul shall cling to Him;
He keeps ev'ry promise that He makes.

2 The foe assails my soul, but Jesus keeps me whole,
I fear not the storm that overtakes;
The Lord will shelter me, my soul's best friend is He,
He keeps ev'ry promise that He makes. [Chorus]

3 His glory I shall share, the life-crown I shall wear
On high, when the morn of glory breaks;
He tells me I shall rest with Him and all the blest;
He keeps ev'ry promise that He makes. [Chorus]
