All on Jesus

Representative Text

1 It is all on Jesus, yes indeed,
I've laid it there this hour;
My ev'ry pain and care and need,
I am resting in His power.

Refrain:
Yes, it's all on Jesus,
Ev'ry whit on Jesus,
All on Jesus,
And I am free;
He bore my sins and sickness in His body
On the shameful cross of Calvary.

2 It is all on Jesus, bless the Lord!
The load I no more carry;
I am trusting in His holy word;
My heart is joyful, very! [Refrain]

3 It is all on Jesus; yes, by faith
I've laid on Him my sorrow;
I have no trouble, have no wrath,
And none expect to borrow. [Refrain]

4 It is all on Jesus, O how free!
O what a wondrous Saviour
To give His precious life for me,
And show to me such favor! [Refrain]

Notes

I had been quite sick all night. I had fever and pains. My bones ached. I suffered. In the morning I had a servant of the Lord to anoint me according to James 5:14-16, and I was shortly well, vigorous in mind, body and spirit. Then the Lord put into my heart this little song of praise - sweet to me. Glory! Give Jesus a trial in all things, yes, in sickness too.
