Representative Text

1 Joyful will the meeting be, over there,
When my loved ones I shall see, over there,
When we gather at the river,
How our hearts with joy will quiver,
We’ll rejoice and sing forever, over there.

Refrain:
Over there, over there,
In our home so bright and fair,
Over there, over there,
We’ll rejoice and sing forever over there.

2 Joyful will the meeting be, over there,
When our Savior we shall see, over there,
Every day this name is dearer,
Every day the end is nearer,
Every day the vision’s clearer, over there. [Refrain]

3 Joyful will the meeting be, over there,
In that blest eternity, over there,
Over there is no more sorrow,
No more trouble will we borrow,
In that endless bright tomorrow, over there. [Refrain]
