La Merced de Nuestro Padre

Representative Text

1 La merced de nuestro Padre,
Es un faro en su brillar,
El nos cuida y nos protege
Con las luces de alta mar.

Refrain: ¡Mantened el faro ardiendo!
¡Arrojad su luz al mar!
Que si hay nautas pereciendo
Los podréis así salvar.

2 Reina noche de pecado,
Ruge airada negra mar,
Almas hay que van buscando
Esas luces de alta mar. [Refrain]

3 Ten tu lámpara encendida
Que en la tempestad habrá,
Algún naufrago perdido
Y tu luz le salvara. [Refrain]
