Representative Text

1. Light of all who come to Thee,
Let me now Thy glory see,
Shining down with beams divine,
Making glad this heart of mine.

Hear my call, oh, hear my call,
Thou my Life, my all in all;
By Thy hand uphold me still,
With Thy love my spirit fill.

2. Hope of all who trust in Thee,
Thou whose blood was shed for me,
Thro’ its healing power divine
Keep from sin this heart of mine. [Refrain]

3. In Thy strength, and not my own,
This I ask before Thy throne,
Blessèd Lord, my faith increase,
Keep my soul in perfect peace. [Refrain]

4. When on earth I close mine eyes,
When to life Thou bidst me rise,
To Thyself, Thou Friend divine,
Take, oh, take this heart of mine. [Refrain]
