Representative Text

1 Love opened wide the door for me,
The door that leads to god;
The hand of Jesus turned the key,
And marked that door with blood.

Refrain:
Love opened wide the door for me,
Restored my soul, and set me free;
His life He freely gave, my life to save,
‘Twas love that opened wide the door for me.

2 Love opened wide the door for me,
The door to pard’ning grace,
And clothed my soul with righteousness,
To stand before His face. [Refrain]

3 Love opened wide the door for me,
The door that leads to rest,
My troubled soul found sweet relief
From burdens that oppressed. [Refrain]

4 Love opened wide the door for me,
The door that leads to pow’r,
My weakness changed to glorious strength,
Increasing hour by hour. [Refrain]
