Pastorates at Toronto, 1908-1913, 191941-1949; Montreal, 1913-1915; Congregational churches in New York State, 1916-1928; Sarnia, 1928-1934; Campbellford, 1935-1941; Prescott, 1949-1954; Uxbridge, 1954-1960 (all in Ontario). Many of his sermons and articles appeared in periodicals like Pulpit Preaching and Christian World Pulpit. He was noted for never reading a scripture lesson, but always reciting it.
