During our last fund drive one donor said this: "I love hymns ... If you asked for money, it means you need it! Please keep the work going. And please, accept my widow's mite. God bless you."

She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

Meine Seele, preise Jesus

Meine Seele, preise Jesus

Tune: [How I praise Thee, precious Savior]
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1 Meine Seele, preise Jesus,
lege Ihm dein Lob zu Fuß,
der dich liebte, heilte, löste,
dir erwarb des Vaters Kuß!
Halleluja, halleluja,
Ihn man täglich preisen muß!
Halleluja, halleluja,
lege Ihm dein Lob zu Fuß!

2 Lob Ihn für des Segens Walten,
unter dem wir dankend gehn,
für den Schild der Macht und Gnade,
unter dem wir jubelnd stehn!
Halleluja, halleluja,
rühme täglich Seine Treu!
Halleluja, halleluja,
sie ist jeden Morgen neu.

3 Lob Ihn, Schar der heilgen Engel,
die Ihm dient im ewgen Licht!
Ja, Ihn loben alle Heilgen,
die Ihn schaun von Angesicht!
Halleluja, halleluja,
auch ich schick empor mein Lied,
daß dem Lamm ein Halleluja
jubelnd durch die Himmel zieht.
