Representative Text

1 Now unto the Lord all-glorious,
Whose goodness is crowning our days,
Who traveled life’s way before us
A pathway of glory to blaze:
Magnify Him,
And glory Him,
Let nature unite in a chorus
Of honor and glory and praise.

Refrain:
From Him there is naught can sever!
His promises fail us never!
His mercies are sure,
His love shall endure!
All praise to His name forever.

2 In sorrow and want He found me
Where long I a captive had been,
He loosened the chains that bound me,
He died my salvation to win.
Magnify Him,
And glory Him,
His power and mercy surround me,
And He is a refuge from sin. [Refrain]

3 His banner of love is flying
In beauty and grandeur and pride;
The legions of sin defying,
The emblem of Satan denied!
Magnify Him,
And glory Him,
The joy of the living and dying—
Jehovah, our Savior and Guide. [Refrain]
