Representative Text

1. Ó esperança divinal!
Em mim será perfeito o amor,
O dom de meu Jesus.
Minha alma em vôo triumphal,
Almeja e canta o favor
Que espero já de Deus.

2. Já avistei da promissão
A terra onde o Israel
De Deus descançará.
De Pisgah olhando, bellas são
As vistas. Rios de leite e mel!
Transbordam acolá.

3. De fructos abundancia dá
A terra além do rio Jordão,
E todo o dom de Deus.
Emmanuel habita lá,
E guarda aos que d'elle são,
Na paz dos altos céus.

4. Na santa patria, Canaan,
Já quero sem demora entrar,
E a terra possuir.
Agora a peregrinação
Das duvidas me vae findar
E santo hei de ser.
