Hymnary Friends,

Please pardon this brief interruption, and please consider a gift today to support the work of Hymnary.org. Here's why.

Each month half a million people visit this website for free access to the most complete database of North American hymnody on the planet. But this project does not come without a cost, and we have limited sources of revenue. Twice a year we hold a fund drive, and these drives are critical to our future.

So if you benefit from Hymnary.org, would you consider a donation today? Even small amounts help, and they also let us know you're behind us and support what we do.

Click the Donate button below to be taken to a secure giving site. Or you can make your tax-deductible contribution by sending a check to Hymnary.org at 3201 Burton SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

On behalf of the entire Hymnary.org team, our thanks.

1 O Jesus, kom nu til os ind
Og som en Sol for os oprind,
At dine Sandheds Straaler maa
Os dybest ind i Hjertet naa!

2 Væk al den døde Kristenhed
Af søvne op og Sikkerhed,
Og herliggjør dit store Navn
I Verden vidt til Syndres Gavn!

3 Lad det velsignede Guds Ord
Snart lyde rundt den hele Jord,
At Jøde, Tyrk og Hedning maa
Det rette Syn paa Sandhed faa!

4 Luk Døren op til Hjertets Hus,
At i det Mørke, paa det Grus
Maa falde Straaler af den Sol,
Som lyser fra din Naadestol!

5 Udrust de Bud, du sende vil,
Med Visdoms Aand og Troes Ild,
Og lad din Naade skinne ned
Paa dem og deres Taare-Sæd!

6 Og takket være du, som god
Ei uden Vidnesbyrd dig lod,
Men har gjort vel og Ordets Magt
Alt vidt og bredt for Dagen lagt!

7 Saa skride vi til Gjerning vor,
Guds hellig' Aasyn med os gaar.
Bevare Gud vor Indgang hid
Og Udgang indtil evig Tid!
