We'll Reap What We Sow

Add to Starred Hymns

Representative Text

1 O let us be careful in sowing our seed,
While toiling for Jesus below;
Sow only the things that the spirit will need,
We'll reap whatsoever we sow.

Chorus:
We'll reap whatsoever we sow,
Whatever the seeds they will grow;
Be careful indeed,
Sow only good seed,
We'll reap whatsoever we sow.

2 If naught to the world we are giving today,
Then nothing the world will return;
But if we are serving the Lord on the way,
The life crown we surely shall earn. [Chorus]

3 Sow only our best for our heavenly King,
And then when no longer we roam;
The song of the reapers we ever shall sing,
At rest in our glorious home. [Chorus]
