O We'll Shout and Sing His Praise

Representative Text

1 Oh, we’ll shout and sing his praise, hallelujah!
Over the land and over the sea;
Over mountain, hill and plain we’ll forever
Carol the song of victory.

Refrain:
We’ll carol the song of victory,
Over the land and over the sea, over the sea,
Till heaven and earth take up the refrain,
And Christ in glory comes again.

2 Oh, we’ll shout and sing his praise, hallelujah!
Loud as the mighty thunders roll;
Oh, we’ll sing the happy song al-together,
Till it sounds from pole to pole. [Refrain]

3 Oh, we’ll shout and sing his praise, hallelujah!
Sing it while he lends us breath;
Then we’ll sing the blessed anthem of glory
Just beyond the gates of death. [Refrain]

4 Oh, we’ll shout and sing his praise, hallelujah!
Far above the vaulted sky;
Yes, we’ll praise the blessed Christ who has saved us,
Where our song shall never die. [Refrain]
