¡Oh si pudiera yo contar!

Representative Text

1. ¡Oh si pudiera yo contar
la gloría y el amor sin par
de Cristo, mí Señor;
volar al cielo con Gabriel,
mi voz a unir con la de aquel
seráfico cantor,
seráfico cantor.

2. La sangre que en la cruz vertió,
la cual a mi alma rescató
de eterna perdición;
su fiel justicia y santo amor,
los que me visten de esplendor,
serian mi canción,
serían mí canción.

3. Todo el carácter de mi Rey:
su multiforme amor, su ley,
su gracia, su poder,
su gloría y sempiterno honor,
en altos himnos de loor
daría a conocer,
daría a conocer.

4. Aquel dichoso día vendrá
cuando Jesús me llevará,
y así su faz veré.
Será mí Amigo y Salvador
con quien, por gracia vencedor,
por siempre viviré,
por siempre viviré.
