Representative Text

1 Once the sun was never shining,
And the sky was always grey,
But my gloom has gone forever,
Since His love came in to stay.

Refrain:
Since His love came in,
Since His love came in;
Jesus set the joy-bells ringing,
And my heart with hope is singing,
Since His love came in,
Since His love came in,
To the blessed Lord I’m clinging,
Since His love came in.

2 I am happy in His presence,
‘Tis the sweetest place I know;
And His grace of boundless measure
Keeps me safe in weal or woe; [Refrain]

3 I will never, never leave Him,
He has promised mine to be,
And His love will do for others,
What His love has done for me. [Refrain]
