Our Great King

Representative Text

1 Our King completely satisfies,
He hears and helps his own;
To Christ above we lift our eyes,
And trust in him alone.

Chorus:
His name we sing, we hail him King,
Thro' earth and heav'n his praises ring,
Thro' earth and heav'n his praises ring.

2 'T is he receives the seeking soul,
Instructs in Wisdom's way;
The sin-sick one he maketh whole,
And leads him day by day. [Chorus]

3 Our King supplies our daily needs,
All others he transcends;
With wand'ring ones he gently pleads,
He keeps and he defends. [Chorus]
