Que Mudança Admirável

Representative Text

1 Que mudança admirável na vida provei,
Pois Cristo minha alma salvou!
Sim, um gozo indizível em Deus alcancei,
Pois Cristo minha alma salvou!

Refrain:
Oh, Cristo minha alma salvou!
Sim, Cristo minha alma salvou!
Mesmo ali sobre a cruz,
Foi que Cristo Jesus
Da morte minha alma salvou!

2 Eu deixei de trilhar a vereda do mal,
Pois Cristo minha alma salvou!
Já desfruto com gozo favor divinal,
Pois Cristo minha alma salvou!

3 Sobre o vale da morte eis que brilha uma luz,
Pois Cristo minha alma salvou!
Sim, enxergo meu lar no porvir com Jesus,
Porque Ele minha alma salvou!

Rufus H. McDaniel was ordained in the Christian church in 1873. He found much joy in church music. He began writing hymns in the 1880's. He wrote, "I feel in my soul that God has something for me to do in brightening the experience of struggling souls.
