1 Rejoice! Rejoice! Behold the newborn King;
Rejoice! Rejoice! Let praise to heaven ring.
All the world is bright
With the holy light
From the glory of the skies
And the seraphs fair
Are attending there
Where in Bethlehem he lies.

Chorus:
Hail the King!
Wonderful Prince of Peace is he!
Welcome sing, Beautiful anthem of the sky;
Hail! He comes!
Bringing to earth good will to men;
King of Kings, bringing to men salvation nigh.

2 Rejoice! Rejoice! Proclaim the gift of heav'n;
Rejoice! Rejoice! To all mankind 'tis giv'n.
As the prophets old
Had so long foretold,
It is now fulfillment's hour;
Let us then rejoice
With the heart and voice
As we hail Messiah's power. [Chorus]

3 Rejoice! Rejoice! Nor let the praising cease;
Rejoice! Rejoice! He brings good will and peace.
Send the news along
On the wings of song
And repeat the joyous strain;
Let the music swell,
Let the chorus tell
And a newborn King proclaim. [Chorus]
