Representative Text

1 Stars gently beaming,
Shine upon a flow’r,
Heavn’s light is streaming,
In earth’s darkest hour.

Refrain:
Sweet Rose of Sharon
Beautiful to see.
Flow’r fair and fragrant,
Blossoming for me,
Sweet Rose of Sharon,
Nevermore to fade,
Life everlasting
Lingers in Thy shade.

2 Pure as a lily,
Fairer than the morn,
This lovely flow’ret,
Once on earth was born. [Refrain]

3 Fragrant Thy perfume,
Never fading hue,
Blest Rose of Sharon,
Beautiful to view! [Refrain]
