One Moment in Heaven

Representative Text

1 The day may be dreary, the way may seem long,
All silent the soul’s cheering song;
But when we awake on that beautiful shore,
All sorrow and pain will be o’er.

Refrain:
One moment in heaven will pay for it all,
When low at the feet of the King I shall fall;
Tho’ trials of earth oft my soul have enthralled,
One moment in heaven will pay for it all.

2 Yes, sometimes I long for a glimpse of His face,
Who saved me by wonderful grace;
But some day my dream will come true and I’ll see
My Saviour who suffered for me. [Refrain]

3 One moment in heaven will pay for it all,
No sorrow of earth we’ll recall;
Forever we’ll dwell in that City of Gold,
And feast on its glories untold. [Refrain]
