Representative Text

1 The path of the just is as a shining light,
That shineth more and more unto the perfect day;
Since I have been saved all my journey has been bright,
And it is growing brighter all the way.

Brighter ev’ry day, better all the way,
My path is growing brighter and better ev’ry day;
Brighter ev’ry day, heaven on the way,
My path is growing brighter ev’ry day.

2 The way may be narrow, but delightful still,
I have communion sweet, for Jesus talks with me;
I find sweet contentment to do His blessed will,
And joy for time and all eternity. [Refrain]

3 The way may be long, but at the end I see
The lights of heaven shine, where flows the crystal stream;
So as I press onward the shadows break and flee,
And just ahead I see the sunlight’s gleam. [Refrain]
