Representative Text

1 Turning from the world for Jesus,
Reaching for the prize above,
Leaning on His gracious promise,
Trusting His unchanging love.

Refrain:
Turning from the world for Jesus,
Reaching for the prize above,
Leaning on His gracious promise,
Trusting His redeeming love.

2 Leaving sin and worldly pleasure,
Paths of strife and valleys dim,
Thus to bear the cross for Jesus,
Giving all my heart to Him. [Refrain]

3 All forsaking for my Saviour,
Who forsook His all for me
When He left His home in glory,
Bled and died on Calvary. [Refrain]

4 Glory to His name forever!
Through His boundless love and grace,
I shall spend eternal ages
In the sunshine of His face. [Refrain]
