1 Unfurl the Gospel banner,
Ye soldiers of the cross,
Beneath its crimson colors,
Count earthly things but dross.

Go forward Christian soldiers,
And bravely march along;
With Jesus for your Leader,
You’ll sing the victor’s song.

2 Be zealous for your Master,
‘Gainst evil bravely fight;
He will be ever with you,
Go forward in His might. [Refrain]

3 Go forward is your order,
And storm the forts of sin;
The ranks of Satan scatter,
For Jesus vict’ry win. [Refrain]

4 Ere long a Mighty Conq’ror,
He’ll come to earth again;
Go forward, fight His battles,
If you would with Him reign. [Refrain]
