And Thy precepts would obey,
Serving Thee and trusting ever,
Walking in the heavenly way.

In the pathway Thou hast trod;

Till we reach the throne of God.

2 ‘Twas for souls with sin o’er-laden,
Jesus, Thou my Saviour died,
Gave Thy precious life a ransom
That we might be justified. [Refrain]

3 Blessed Jesus, may we ever
Live in sweet humility,
Taking for our blest example,
Jesus full of sympathy. [Refrain]
