He's Coming Again

Representative Text

1 When the Christmas chimes are ringing
We think of the happy morn
When the angels, glad news bringing,
Told the shepherd the Lord was born.

Refrain:
He's coming again, He's coming;
He's coming again we know;
He's coming to bring redemption;
The Bible tells us so.

2 O the glorious gospel story!
We hail the immortal day
When it first was sung from glory!
Roll it onward for aye and aye! [Refrain]

3 Yes, we look for Him at midnight,
At earliest morn, at noon;
At the setting sun, or twilight,
We are hoping to see Him soon. [Refrain]

4 Come, oh Jesus, come and take us
To meet Thee amid the air;
If we sleep, O Lord, awake us;
We are yearning to meet Thee there. [Refrain]
