On With the Mighty One

Representative Text

1 With the Savior we are going
To the battlefield,
Ev’ry heart with love o’erflowing,
Sworn to never, never yield;
With his banner floating o’er us,
Walking in his light,
We will drive the foe before us,
We will win the fight.

Refrain:
On, on, on, with the mighty One!
With his banner floating o’er us,
We will drive the foe before us,
And will fight, fight, fight,
For the truth and right,
Till the victory for Christ be won.

2 We will go where’er he leads us,
Faithful we will be;
For we know that Jesus speeds us
Surely onto victory;
Satan’s hosts cannot withstand us,
They must turn and fly;
For the One who doth command us
Rules the earth and sky. [Refrain]

3 Trusting in our Leader’s power,
We will battle on
Till the foe his flag shall lower,
And the world from sin be won.
Then with sweetest song and story,
In that life to be,
We’ll exalt our Leader’s glory
Thro’ eternity. [Refrain]
