Representative Text

1 Sometime all sorrows shall be o’er,
Sometime!
All earthly care be known no more!
Oh, what rejoicing on the golden shore,
Sometime, sometime soon!

2 Sometime our loved ones we shall greet,
Sometime!
When in the Father’s house we meet,
Only to sit forever at His feet,
Sometime, sometime soon!

3 Sometime when sets at last life’s sun,
Sometime!
Our journey ended, labor done,
Oh, what a crown for ev’ry vict’ry won,
Sometime, sometime soon!

4 Sometime, I know not when ‘twill be,
Sometime!
My Lord will come again for me,
Then I shall reign with Him eternally,
Sometime, sometime soon!
