Christened: January 6, 1650, Helston, Cornwall, England. Hart was a bass singer at York Minster until 1670; Gentleman of the Chapel Royal (1670-1718); and lay-vicar of Westminster Abbey (1670-1718). He also played the organ at St. Andrew’s, Undershaft; St. Michael’s, Cornhill; and St. Dionis, Blackheath (1724).
