151. The Saviour Is Calling

1 Lost one, the Saviour is calling,
Will you not seek Him tonight,
While He is waiting to welcome,
Waiting, to lead you aright;
Waiting with love and compassion
Deeper than ocean or sea,
Hear His voice softly entreating
“Wanderer, come unto me.”

2 Lost one, the Saviour is waiting,
Hasten, accept Him just now,
Lean on the arms everlasting,
Low at His footstool now bow,
Give your life into His keeping,
Let Him but guide where He will;
Thro’ the vale by the still waters
Let Him with joy your life fill.

3 Lost one, the Saviour is standing,
His spirit may cease to strive,
Won’t you let His gracious presence
Hope, joy and peace, now revive;
Sin may hold charms quite alluring,
They will but fade as the leaf,
Leaving no beauty for ashes,
Leaving no solace but grief.
