Calvary's Praises ‎#90

90. Beyond the Shadows

1 I am going to my home beyond the shadows,
I feel today the sunlight shining there;
The perfume of the green and pleasant pastures,
Is borne me on the pure and balmy air.

Refrain:
I am going to my home beyond the shadows,
To the home my Lord has promised to prepare;
I am going to my home beyond the shadows,
And, O, beloved, will you meet me there?

2 I am going to my home beyond the shadows,
I know the fountains by the living streams,
By faith I walk beneath the trees of healing,
I near the many mansions of my dreams. [Refrain]

3 I am going to my home beyond the shadows,
My joyful spirit joins the angel song;
I see among my dear ones reunited,
A place for me in heaven’s happy throng. [Refrain]

4 I am going to my home beyond the shadows,
I ever hold a strong and guiding arm;
The love divine my being has enfolded,
And yields my journey everlasting charm! [Refrain]
