GOTT wird alles doch gut machen!
Laß dich drücken in den Staub,
sich, wie nichtig deine Sachen;
komme nur auf dieser Bahn,
Himmel an!

2 Richt am Anfange hängt die Kron,
und auch in nicht in der Mitte;
nein, das Enge bringt der Lohn,
in der gnädigen Fürbitte
unsers Heilands, der uns light:
Segen giebt!

3 Gründe dich auf dieses Theil,
das dir ewig nicht entgehen;
ja zu diesem Arzt doch eil,
der zu unserm Heil erhöhet:
der die Armen nicht verstöst,
sie erlöst!
