Text: | Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah |
Author: | W. Williams |

Tune: | [Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah] |
Composer: | Rev. J. B. Dykes, Mus. Doc. |
1 Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrim thro' this barren land,
I am weak, but Thou art mighty,
Hold me with Thy powerful hand.
2 Open now the crystal fountain
Whence the healing streams do flow;
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through.
3 Feed me with the heavenly manna
In this barren wilderness;
Be my sword, and shield, and banner,
Be the Lord my Righteousness.
4 When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fear subside;
Death of deaths, and hell's destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan's side.
Amen.
