1 We shall sing a sweet, new song,
When we join the ransom’d throng,
Just beyond the pearly gates;
We shall sigh or grieve no more
All our hardships will be o’er,
Just beyond the pearly gates.

Rapture for the faithful waits,
Glad hosannas we shall raise in increasing strains of praise,

2 Nevermore our souls will roam,
When we reach that happy home,
