Pri Kristo sur la tero, vivanta inter ni.
Mi estas ja pekulo, sed tamen estas ver',
Ke li por mia savo loĝadis sur la ter'.

2. Mi ĝojas, ke li estis infano, kiel ni;
Kaj same, ĉiam bona kaj pia estu mi:
Mi sekvu liajn paŝojn senlace ĝis la fin';
Li amas min tre multe kaj ne forlasos min.

3. Pri lia korboneco leviĝos mia kant',
Ĉar kvankam mi ne vidas, mi scias lin aŭdant'.
