This partita on WINCHESTER NEW can be used as a recital piece or as a large Voluntary for a church service. Each of the five little variations, or movements, can also be used individually as an introduction to this hymn tune for purposes of congregational singing. The last variation, Toccata, can actually be used as a short Voluntary for a church service as well.
