Benjamin F. Schwartz is a retired minister now living in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born in 1897 in German Ridge, Indiana. As a boy he moved to Iowa where he attended rural schools and the Wapello High School. He was graduated from Grinnell College in 1919 and from Boston University School of Theology in 1922. He holds an honorary D.D. from Iowa Wesleyan University. He has served pastorates in Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. He was chancellor of Nebraska Wesleyan University 1938-1946. In his retirement he is leading a very active life including responsibilities as Instructor in Religion at the Municipal University of Omaha, and as assistant Protestant Chaplain at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha.
