1853 - 1943 Person Name: K. M., Jr. Hymnal Number: 249 Author of "Here Am I, O Lord!" in Celestial Songs Mackenzie, Kenneth. (1853--1943). Scholarly Episcopal clergyman and close friend of A.B. Simpson throughout his entire ministry. Was one of the first to stand on his platform in 1883. Author of a number of books and instructor at Nyack over the years. Paid high tribute to Captain R. Kelso Carter and May Agnew Stephens for their aid to Simpson in his musical ministry. Was himself talented in music. Wrote words and music for two hymns in 1908 edition of Hymns of the Christian Life and music for four others.
