1874 - 1955 Person Name: T. H. Author of "I Worship Only Thee" in Songs We Love Born: March 31, 1874, Washington, DC. Died: March 27, 1955, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Buried: International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. After attending college in Battle Creek, Michigan, Harris produced his first hymnal in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1902. He then moved to Chicago, Illinois at the invitation of Peter Bilhorn, and in 1932, to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He composed and compiled a number of works, and was well known locally as he walked around with a canvas bag full of handbooks for sale. His works include: Light and Life Songs, with William Olmstead & William Kirkpatrick (Chicago, Illinois: S. K. J. Chesbro, 1904) Little Branches, with George J. Meyer & Howard E. 1858 - 1927 Author of "I Love But Thee" in Hymns We Love, for Sunday Schools and All Devotional Meetings Ada Jane Blenkhorn Canada 1858-1927 Born in Cobourg, Ontario, the 10th of 11 children, she emigrated with her family to the U.S. In 1884 and settled in Cleveland, OH.. She was raised a Methodist, and began writing hymn lyrics at age 34. A prolific writer of hymn lyrics, she was about to give it up when a friend encouraged her to continue, telling her some soul might be saved by a hymn she would write. She worked for many years as secretary to her brother, Henry's, real estate company. After his death in 1923, she became president of the company. She never married. John Perry

1891 - 1944 Arranger of "[Come higher today, no longer delay]" in Gloria in Excelsis Born: September 24, 1891, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Died: December 13, 1944, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Buried: Greenwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. An organist and composer, Kohlmann wrote for the organ, piano, and hand bells. In 1929, he recorded four organ works, including The Storm, for inventor Thomas Edison. Died: Jan­u­a­ry 24, 1956, Wau­ke­sha, Wi­scon­sin. Pettengell at­tend­ed Sar­a­to­ga Bib­li­cal Sem­in­a­ry, Sar­a­to­ga Springs, New York. He and his wife moved to Wau­ke­sha, Wis­con­sin in 1906.
