Text: | Sing the Creator’s Glory |
Author: | Edith Sanford Tillotson |
Tune: | [Sing the Creator’s glory] |
Composer: | Ira B. Wilson |
1 Sing the Creator’s glory, the wonders of his hand,
Sing of those works of splendor nor mind can understand;
Beauty of earth and heaven, of land and ocean deep,
Mountain and hill and valley, fair field or canyon deep.
Refrain:
He is Giver of the sunshine, of the shadow, of the rain;
He is Master of the sowing and the reaping of the grain;
With the glory of his name, all the universe shall ring;
He is Monarch over all, creation’s King.
2 Sing the Creator’s glory, the plan that he has made,
Morning, and noon and midnight, in endless turn arrayed;
Tell of the Circling seasons, the years that take their flight,
All in appointed courses, and guided by his might. [Refrain]
3 Sing the Creator’s glory, the marvels he has done,
Ever his works shall praise him, shall praise from sun to sun;
His shall be all the honor, the power and the love,
His shall be all the glory in earth and heav’n above. [Refrain]
