All Will Be Glory, By and By

Author: Lydia N. Williams Appears in 4 hymnals First Line: By and by we'll be gathered home Refrain First Line: We shall meet in the bright tomorrow Lyrics: 1 By and by we’ll be gathered home, Gathered home, gathered home; By and by we’ll be gathered home To the palace of the King. Sheltered there we shall no more roam, No more roam, no more roam; Sheltered there we shall no more roam, While immortal love we sing. Refrain: We shall meet in the bright tomorrow, God shall wipe every tearful eye; No more sighing, and no more sorrow, All will be glory, by and by. 2 By and by we shall cross the tide, Cross the tide, cross the tide; By and by we shall cross the tide To the haven of the blest. Thro’ his grace we’ll be glorified, Glorified, glorified; Thro’ his grace we’ll be glorified In the peaceful land of rest. [Refrain] 3 Meeting there at the river’s brink, River’s brink, river’s brink; Meeting there at the river’s brink We shall enter joys above. May there be not a missing link, Missing link, missing link; May there be not a missing link In the jeweled chain of love. [Refrain] 4 O the joy when we meet up there, Meet up there, meet up there; O the joy when we meet up there On the happy Golden shore. O the rapture we soon shall share, Soon shall share, soon shall share; O the rapture we soon shall share With the loved ones gone before! [Refrain] Used With Tune: [By and by we'll be gathered home]
