Go!

Author: Elisha A. Hoffman Hymnal: Sunday School Voices #78 (1910) First Line: Forth, go forth in the Master's name, to do his holy will Refrain First Line: Go in the Master's name, Go, and his love proclaim Lyrics: 1 Forth, go forth in the Master’s name, to do his holy will; Forth, go forth in the strength of grace, and all his words fulfil; Tell the tidings from heav’n above, tell the message of peace and love; Hark! ‘tis Jesus who bids you “Go”,—be ready to obey. Refrain: Go in the Master’s name, Go, and his love proclaim; Herald the gospel news to ev’ry soul today; Into the broad world go, Jesus would have it so, He the commandments gave,—be ready to obey. 2 “Go ye forth into all the world,” we hear the Master say, “Preach the gospel to ev’ry soul,” O bear the news away! Tell them Jesus for sinners died, and to save them was crucified; And perhaps you may win a soul to love the Lord, and pray. [Refrain] 3 Who will “go” and obey the call, and bear the good news on? Who will “go” and will follow on where Jesus’ feet have gone, Help to usher the glad day in when the world shall be saved from sin, And the kingdoms of earth shall be for our Redeemer won? [Refrain] Topics: Missions Languages: English Tune Title: [Forth, go forth in the Master's name, to do his holy will]
