Author: Ernest G. W. Wesley Hymnal: Assembly Songs #86 (1910) First Line: I have found the place where I safe can rest Refrain First Line: I am perfectly safe in His hands Lyrics: 1 I have found the place where I safe can rest, Without fear when the foe assails me; In the love of God, I am ever blest, And the Lord, whom I trust, ne’er fails me. Refrain: I am perfectly safe in His hands, Safe in His hands, Yes, safe in His hands; I’ve giv’n myself to Jesus, I’m perfectly safe in His hands. 2 I have found the place where in perfect peace, ‘Mid all sorrows of earth I hide me; In the hands of Christ, where all tears must cease, Where His mercy and joy abide me. [Refrain] 3 I have found the place where all grace is mine, Where the strength of my Lord sustains me; In His depthless Life, in His Life Divine, He doth shelter and ever hold me. [Refrain] 4 I have found the place where in life’s last hour, When all loved ones of earth must leave me, He will keep my soul, and His hand of pow’r, Thro’ the shadows of death will hide me. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [I have found the place where I safe can rest]
