Eberman Hymnal: The Cyber Hymnal #10889 Meter: 8.8.8.8 First Line: Jesus, my king, with thorn-crowned brow Lyrics: 1 Jesus, my king, with thorn-crowned brow, O let Thy Spirit fill me now; In faith I bow before Thy cross, All earthly things I count but dross. 2 Yes, Lord, I hear Thy voice of love, That draws my soul to Thee above; For strength I ask, to follow Thee, Where’er, by faith, Thy hand I see. 3 My burdens, Lord, I bring to Thee; O change them into songs for me; No other place heart-strength affords, My king of kings, and Lord of lords. Consecration Hymn

Author: C. E. Eberman Hymnal: Uplifted Voices #140 (1901) First Line: Jesus, my King, with thorn-crown'd brow Lyrics: 1 Jesus, my King, with thorn-crowned brow, Oh! let Thy Spirit fill me now; In faith, I bow before Thy cross, All earthly things I count but dross. 2 Yes, Lord, I hear Thy voice of love, That draws my soul to Thee above; For strength, I ask to follow Thee, Where’er, by faith, Thy hand I see. 3 I give myself, my time, my all; In worship at Thy feet I fall; Then bid me rise to service new, Whate’er there is for me to do. 4 I will obey Thy voice divine, And calmly place my hand in Thine; I’ll follow Thee with joyful heart, Where’er I can Thy word impart. 5 My burdens, Lord, I bring to Thee; Oh, change them into songs for me; No other place heart-strength affords, My King of kings, and Lord of lords. Tune Title: [Jesus, my King, with thorn-crown'd brow]
