1863 - 1939 Author of "We are little Christians" [Mrs. W. A. Camp] Born: June 18, 1863, Bos­ton, Mass­a­chu­setts. Died: Jan­u­a­ry 15, 1939, Spring­field, Mis­sou­ri. Buried: Ma­ple Park Cem­e­te­ry, Spring­field, Mis­sou­ri. Camp vis­it­ed Spring­field, Mis­sou­ri, in 1883, where she met Doc­tor Wal­ter A. Camp. Two years lat­er, they mar­ried, and she moved to Spring­field, where she spent the rest of her life. She was a tal­ent­ed ar­tist, po­et & wri­ter, con­trib­ut­ing ma­ny ar­ti­cles and po­ems to lead­ing mag­a­zines. She was al­so an ar­dent church work­er, and mem­ber of the Cal­va­ry Pres­by­teri­an Church. --www.hymntime.com/tch/
