Author: Mrs. C. H. M. Hymnal: Sunday School and Revival #28 (1907) Refrain First Line: Open your heart to the King of kings Lyrics: 1 Open your heart to the Savior, Gladly the door open wide, Trust Him from sin to deliver, Bid Him come in and abide. Chorus: Open your heart to the King of kings, Rich are the treasures He freely brings; Rest today ‘neath His shelt’ring wings, He is the Friend you need. Open your heart, Open your heart. Open your heart to the Savior, He is the Friend you need. 2 Open your heart to the Savior, Life and salvation now choose; Will you, for earth’s fleeting pleasures, Life everlasting refuse? [Chorus] 3 Welcome the heavenly Stranger, Now, while He waits at the door, Lest He should leave you in anger, And should return nevermore.
