The Word of Faith

Author: R. M. H. Hymnal: The Tabernacle Hymns #45 (1918) First Line: The glorious gospel of the Son of God Refrain First Line: If thou shalt confess Him as your Lord Lyrics: 1 The glorious gospel of the Son of God Is free to all who hear; To all who wish His righteousness to claim, This word of faith is near. Refrain: If thou shalt confess Him as your Lord, And believe that God hath raised Him from the dead, Thou shalt be saved, Thou shalt be saved. 2 His word is sure, His promise cannot fail, His love extends to all; His grace, whose depths are deeper than the sea, Is free for ev’ry call. [Refrain] 3 ‘Twas not the righteous Jesus came to call, but sinners dead in sin; And all who come confessing Him as Lord, May now new life begin. [Refrain] 4 That great word, “whosoever will may come,” Includes the whole of man; Redemptions work, thro’ death, has been decreed, E’er since the world began. [Refrain] Topics: Assurance; Confession Tune Title: [The glorious gospel of the Son of God]
