Vote It Out!

Author: Eben E. Rexford Hymnal: The New Praiseworthy #352 (1916) First Line: There's a question we must settle Lyrics: 1 There's a question we must settle,- Vote it out! (vote it out!) O, my brother, show your mettle,- Vote it out! (vote it out!) Shall the dram-shop rule the nation With its crime and dissipation? Vote it out, vote it out, vote it out, out, out! 2 It's a most important question,- Vote it out! (vote it out!) Act upon this wise suggestion,- Vote it out! (vote it out!) Wrong is wrong, who dares defend it? There is but one way to end it,- Vote it out, vote it out, vote it out, out, out! 3 It is "up to you," my brother, Vote it out! (vote it out!) Face the question, there's no other, Vote it out! (vote it out!) Let us settle it forever, Voters, it is now or never! Vote it out, vote it out, vote it out, out, out! 4 In the name of Right and Justice Vote it out! (vote it out!) Help us, Lord, in whom our trust is,- Vote it out! (vote it out!) Vote to end this degradation, Vote to have a clean, pure nation,- Vote it out, vote it out, vote it out, out, out.
