Throned on a cloud, the Judge will come

Author: Anon. Hymnal: The Seventh-Day Adventist Hymn and Tune Book #892 (1886) Lyrics: 1 Throned on a cloud, the Judge will come, Bright flames prepare his way; Thunder and darkness, fire and storm, Lead on the dreadful day. 2 No more shall bold blasphemers say, "Judgment will ne'er begin;" No more abuse his long delay By carelessness and sin. 3 Then shall the Lord a refuge prove For all his poor oppressed, To save the people of his love, And give the weary rest. Anonymous

Person Name: Anon. Author of "Throned on a cloud, the Judge will come" in The Seventh-Day Adventist Hymn and Tune Book In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.
