With Joyful Song

Author: Ada Blenkhorn Hymnal: Light and Life Songs No. 4 #133 (1928) First Line: With joyful song we greet the day Refrain First Line: In sweetest praise our voice we raise Lyrics: 1 With joyful song we greet the day That saw our Lord arise, With joy we meet to praise and pray Beneath the list’ning skies. Chorus: In sweetest praise our voice we raise To Him who dwells above; Glad hearts we bring to Christ our King, The Prince of life and love. 2 The hours of golden wings will fly, Upborne by hope’s sweet gale, And gladly bear, while speeding by, Our songs o’er hill and dale. [Chorus] 3 Our blessed Jesus looks in love; The angels on us gaze; And richer is the song above, Because we offer praise. [Chorus] Languages: English Tune Title: [With joyful song we greet the day]
