Some Joyful Day

Author: Thoro Harris Hymnal: The Cyber Hymnal #6186 First Line: Some day, when all life's surges Refrain First Line: Some day, O joyful day! Lyrics: 1. Some day, when all life’s surges And storms of time are o’er, Our bark shall safely anchor On Canaan’s peaceful shore; Some day, when all the tumult And din of war shall cease, The saints shall all be gathered Within the port of peace. Refrain Some day, O joyful day! This world shall pass away; Upon that fair celestial shore, We’ll meet to part no more. 2. Some day, in realms of glory My Savior I shall see, And tell the wondrous story Of Him who died for me; Some day I’ll join the chorus Of angel choirs above, Some day with all the ransomed I’ll sing His deathless love. [Refrain] 3. Some day, I’ll meet the loved ones Who long have passed away, And nevermore be parted Through Heav’n’s eternal day; Some day, arrayed in brightness, The Lamb shall I behold; Some day in robes of whiteness I’ll walk the streets of gold. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [Some day, when all life's surges]
